Arranging music for celtic harp - Parry’s Delight: arrangement by Mark Harmer

I created this video in a 1100-year-old church in Wales as part of a new series on making harp arrangements. Parry’s Delight is a tune collected in 1800 by a Welsh musician. It just exists as a single-line melody, and in this video you’ll see me talk through and demonstrate some of the ideas suggested by the tune. I play through my entire arrangement at the end of the video (from about 7:31) See my other YouTube videos for more harp goodies. My CD and sheet music arrangements will be available at Video details: Camera: Panasonic GH2 / Sound: Zoom H4n and Sennheiser 318 / Editing: Sony Vegas 10
