The Mind Electric || Full Animatic || Disturbing Imagery + Flashing Lights

hi! this took quite awhile but here it is, my own take on one of my favorite songs :) the general story follows a young man who signs up to be a park mascot and gets much more than he bargains for. some quick notes: -the major point of this project was to push myself to FINISH something; during creation, once a frame or set of frames was considered ’done’ i refused to let myself go back and edit it lest i fall down the rabbit hole of feeling things weren’t good enough and never moving past ’em. this means there are small character design inconsistences and i’m sure a boatload of mistakes, and that’s okay! i finished the project and i’m proud :) -all of the characters are my own OCs but the general aesthetic is a parody of a certain all-powerful entertainment franchise as well as amusement parks in general! -the main art programs used were Krita and DaVinci Resolve (the free version) song:
