Following Voyage’s triumphant first album, the three Frenchmen Chantereau, Dahan & Pezin may have played it safe on the follow-up album which, like the first, was recorded in London’s Trident Studios and followed the same idea of taking a trip around the world. This time they teamed up with then 20-year-old Sylvia Mason-James who provided vocals on the lead single Souvenirs (#41 US/#56 UK) and Let’s Fly Away (#38 UK) and accompanied them on their promotional gigs. The album was another chart-topper on Billboard’s Disco Charts. Tahiti, Tahiti was another single release in the summer of 1979 when but failed to chart.
