Wife of Imprisoned Russian Dissident Reacts to Navalny’s Death | Amanpour and Company

One who understands the tragedy better than most is the wife of Vladimir Kara-Murza, an opposition politician who was sentenced last April to 25 years in prison for treason and other charges that he has denied. Evgenia Kara-Murza has been a prominent voice for the freedom of her husband, who last month was transferred to a new Siberian penal colony and is currently being held in strict isolation. Kara-Murza joins the show to discuss the death of Navalny and the fears it stokes for the fate of other Russian political prisoners.
