The Kerch bridge connecting Crimea to Russia was closed after an explosion, believed to be an attack by Ukrainian forces using sea drones.
A couple were said by the Russian authorities to have been killed in the attack, the second on the bridge since the war began, and their daughter was seriously injured. They were named in local media as Natalya Kulik, 36, and her husband Alexei, 40.
President Putin vowed to retaliate, as his deputy prime minister said the bridge would not be fully back in operation until November.
