After trying to see Marymere Falls at Lake Crescent we decided to drive to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles and buy an annual National Park Pass for $80. I was disappointed that there was no way to pay at the Lake Crescent parking lot but this turned out well. We ended up hiking 1 and a half miles on the Peabody Creek Loop Trail and also the Living Forest Nature Trail which was handicapped accessible with assistance in places. I was very happy to be outside and on a trail, it was very green and refreshing! We even did 200 feet of elevation gain which is like 20 flights of stairs, not bad for my recovering ankle, 96 days since my surgery when we did this hike :) We did this hike on the last weekend of January 2023
