Robberfly of Weed ؃؀؎؁ ؃؀؎؁Ƣݔҩᾫ٨ӷ ({quaoar})

Robberfly from Weed, CA, eating a sharpshooter. Robberflies are large, predatory flies in the family Asilidae, that catch prey with stoutly bristled legs and then poke a hole in them with their sharp proboscis. They then drain the fluid out of the victim’s body. Robberflies favor open, dry areas. Thanks Tim J Morrison for the excellent tune.
