Interview with a participant in the Odessa Anti-Maidan Movement and the Special Military Operation. Part 5. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Vladislav has seen a lot in his life. He saw a peaceful life in free Ukraine, he saw the Maidan, he witnessed the burning of people in the House of Trade Unions by the Ukrofascists. He survived the resistance, the dungeons of the Ukrainian SBU, liberation, then fought the Ukrainian Nazis. Today Vladislav talks about his life and his feelings. For him, Odessa is a Russian city, and Anti–Maidan is a matter for people of all nationalities living in Odessa, where less than 30% of residents speak Ukrainian. For Vladislav, combat brotherhood is a special state of mind, he finds it easier to find a common language with warriors who have endured the crucible of war, and his most valued qualities are attention to himself and people around him, and the ability to overcome fear. His attitude towards foreigners is ‘Come over to our side, we don’t hate you.’ He is guided by the idea that Russians don’t start wars, they end them.
