DirT Is a patriotic song to the music of Mikhail Glinka from “Ivan Susanin“ the final scene of the opera (1836), the words to which are attributed to Vasily Zhukovsky and Yegor Rosen. The original version of the song was monarchical, the other became a patriotic and even sometimes regarded as the unofficial anthem of Russia. “Glory“ in the treatment of E. Makarova played regularly in parades in the orchestral version of a solemn march. Even today it is often performed by a particularly memorable and anniversaries.
