When put in service in 1962, “SS France“ was the longest ocean liner with a total length of 316 meters! This record remained unchallenged until 2004 when she was topped by “Queen Mary 2“. In 1979 she was sold to Norway where she was eventually renamed to “SS Norway“.
The model (scale 1/200) is build from scratch by our club member Gerold Brunner, who already constructed “HMS Queen Elizabeth 2“. The outcome is another breath taking model build in such detail, it is hard to tell the difference between the sm
