DOG PHOTOGRAPHY | Behind the Scenes: Sigma ART 85mm 1.4 DG HSM First Impressions & Portrait Tips

I wanted to test out the Sigma ART 85mm 1.4 lens (DG HSM) this week in a shoot with Pippi and we filmed it all! Join us in the forest again for another dog photography shoot behind the scenes, with tips flying about from start to finish, grab a notepad and prepare to learn. I hope you find this video useful, it was a tough one to put together! Pippi is a near full-trained working border collie who is about 4 years behind Alfie’s skill level but working super well at the moment. Note the high reward frequency and short duration on behaviours. The 85mm 1.4 worked like a champ throughout on the Sony A7riii and delivered tack sharp pieces of art every time. It missed focus 3 times in the entire session, 99% probably down to me!
