My Dad first played Gordon Lightfoot for me when I was pretty young –I have a really fond memory of us staying up late during a family beach vacation, listening to Gord’s Gold cover-to-cover and digging into his writing and his technical musical mastery. His work influenced me greatly from that moment on. Rest well, Gord, and thank you for the poetry you brought to life in this world.
