Meteorite hits eastern Cuba and triggers the alarm of its inhabitants

An unusual explosion and a fireball furrowed eastern Cuba this Friday night, where it is presumed that a meteorite fell that was observed from the central end of the island. A local station in Camagüey reported that at 10:06 pm (local time) residents said they heard the detonation in the sky followed by a ball of white and red fire that followed at high speed to the eastern end. A team of journalists from Alma Mater magazine indicated on their Twitter account that a seismological station in Moa registered a shake after the fireball disappeared.
