UNSUNG HEROES OF ILLUSTRATION 83 HD

This quartet of unsung heroes were all born in the last 2 decades of the 19th century, each in a different country. And I like to think that each of them brings something distinctive in terms of their visual prowess and style to the table. And I must confess to an error - the cover of Der Orchideengarten shown isn’t in fact by Ludwig Kainer. I took it on trust from the source I used but it’s by the even more obscure Flora Klee-Palyi.
