DROP | SYBREED “Next Day Will Never Come“ guitar playthrough
“Next Day Will Never Come“ is a track from Sybreed first album Slave Design (2004).
The riffs in this song are straightforward and groove-heavy, though the bridge can be a bit challenging to play cleanly. I recall trying to capture the feel of a Devin Townsend Ocean Machine-style riff while writing that particular part.
I’m using an Ibanez with Di Marzio pickups, both being approx 30-years old I don’t remember the models. This is my favorite guitar by the way, it’s the one I use on Sybreed’s “God Is An Automaton“ (2012) and the later works such as Obsydians.
Tuning : Drop A#
Gauge : 17-26-36-46-56-68
Picks : InTune GP 2mm
I’m using only one instance of Bogren Digital AmpKnob BDH 5169 for the guitar sound.
Rest of the stems are from the original album.
