Former boxer punches police during Paris yellow vest protest

Christophe Dettinger, 36, ’the Gypsy of Massy’, has been identified as the large man punching a policeman yesterday. He was France’s Light Heavyweight champion for two years from October 2007. Dettinger is now on the run after being identified in violent video from the eighth straight Saturday of protests which saw cars torched and 50,000 on the streets.
