Opening Basics #29: Ponziani opening

The Ponziani opening is tactical in nature and leads to interesting play. Although black can equalize with good play, this opening provides a way for white to get his opponent onto unfamiliar ground. At the top level, the Ponziani has been tried out by Hikaru Nakamura and Magnus Carlsen.
