Unreal Engine 5 - Metahuman Animator Test (iPhone 11)
Had to test out the new Metahuman Animator Plugin. More info about how it works here:
I did a test using an iPhone 11 (Epic recommends 12 and up, but it worked regardless with the depth sensor. I believe for longer sessions it might not be powerful enough). I used a tripod and light to get stable and evenly lit footage.
Processing took around 2 hours on my Machine.
My Laptop specs are:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ 2,80GHz, 4 Cores
16GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 1060
My GPU memory ran out twice during Data processing. Overall, it took around 3 hours to record and process everything on my machine, minus a few crashes. But my laptop is way below the recommended minimum settings:
