How to end illegal immigration to Britain by withdrawing from the UN’s 1951 Refugee Convention

Halting illegal immigration to this country would be very simple, if only we had a strong government. The first step would be to join those many nations which are not signatories to the United Nations 1951 Refugee Convention. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Libya, Iraq, Cuba and most of the Gulf States manage to do very well without acceding to this awful protocol.
