In Conversation with... SLAVOJ ŽIŽEK | TIFF 2016

Slavoj Žižek — popularly known as “the most dangerous philosopher in the West“ and the “Elvis of cultural theory“ — joins us to speak about philosophy, the Syrian refugee crisis in Europe, and how cinema can serve an important role in understanding contemporary cross-cultural conflict. Žižek is an internationally renowned philosopher, Global Distinguished Professor of German at New York University, and founder and president of the Society for Theoretical Psychoanalysis in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
