SpaceX Dragon and Polaris Dawn crew return to Earth

A billionaire spacewalker has returned to Earth after five days in orbit, ending a trip that saw him travel higher than anyone since Nasa’s moonwalkers. SpaceX’s capsule splashed down off the coast of Florida shortly after EDT ( BST) carrying tech entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, two SpaceX engineers and a former air force pilot. The event was livestreamed by SpaceX, which said on social media platform X, formerly Twitter: “Splashdown of Dragon confirmed! Welcome back to earth”.
