The last cyclocross outing of 2019 in Belgium is the sixth race in the Ethias series. This collection of eight individual days racing under a collective sponsor carries no general classification, but don’t underestimate the prestige of many of these historic events. There isn’t a huge amount of elevation gain per lap in Bredene, but the banks are steep enough to force riders off their bikes to run, there’s also plenty of twisty technical sections, sand and planks, a pretty traditional cross course.
