Pink Panther - Boomwhackers ABC + 123

The Pink Panther has been on my wish list for a long time and finally it is here. After the music had been played and mixed, it took quite a while before I had an idea of how this piece could look graphically and in terms of the score. It has become a piece for two groups: melody and bass part. Because the notes change quite quickly, I chose to give each student two boomwhackers and a number. Because of the number, the students can better associate when it is their turn and which notes belong to them. In the middle section, the boomwhackers are placed on the table or on the floor and a body percussion piece is played. Here you could also have different teams make up their own body percussion piece, in turns or as a complimentary rhythm. For the melody part you need: D, D#, E, F#, G, A, Bb, B, C’, D’, Eb’ and E’. For the bass part you need: G, C, C#, D, D#, E, F (for the notation I use C#/Db and D#/Eb for the ascending and descending melody...).
