Making a Slow Stitched Needlebook using Collaged Fabric Pieces

This video shows my process for making a needlecase using slow stitch and collaged fabric pieces. After arranging the fabric pieces I pin them onto a piece of ’bump’ (batting/wadding). I handstitch each piece into place, adding other decorative embroidery stitches. A piece of cotton lace is then stitched with a button for what will be the front of the needlecase. The finished piece includes a felt insert for holding hand sewing needles and a press stud fastening. Thank you for watching x Would you like to “Buy Me A Coffee“?
