Observation: Sometimes we are not counting the musical 8 counts, but we are counting the steps, or the steps of a part from the figure, on purpose. This is a technique we use to make our students stop making a 8 counts figure and do basic, or a 16 counts figure and do basic, … , but play with the elements of the figure and like this merge them.
