Since Nokia discontinued their update for the Maemo 5 OS after rolling out PR 1.3 nicknamed Fremantle in 2010, there have been certain things missing from the Nokia N900 to keep it alive with its rivals. However, the CSSU Update, Community Seamless Software Update, addresses this issue by adding cool new features such as portrait orientation for the menu and settings application. In addition to this, the camera application has been tweaked allowing users to change picture modes by pressing a letter, so “l“ changes it to Landscape mode and “a“ back to Automatic.
