4k Prague street walk: Celetná street, Old Town Square, Václavák 🇨🇿 Czech Republic HDR ASMR

Today, on our 4k Prague street walk, we will move along the traditional route from the Powder Tower along Celetná Street towards the Old Town Square, and, having circled a little, we will reach Václavák! 02:32 The Powder Tower is one of Old Town’s original 13 city gates, Prague. Its construction began in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city instead of a defensive tower. The foundation stone was placed by Vladislav II. The city council gave Vladislav II the tower as a coronation gift. While it was being built, it was called the New Tower. The tower’s look was inspired by Peter Parler’s work on the Charles Bridge. 03:30 Celetná is a street in the Old Town, Prague, connecting the Old Town Square with the Powder Gate. It is one of Prague’s oldest streets and part of the Royal Route. Although, Celetná is a former Prague trade route. The street is named after bread baked in the area
