“Blood of the Kings“ (Manowar) cover

Written by Manowar bass player Joey DeMaio and featured in their 1988 album Kings of Metal, Blood of the Kings is a song that has been in the back of my head for years, mostly because of the gratuitous high-pitched screams, the simplistic lyrics -a shopping list randomly generated by a computer fed with the band’s other song titles- and the fact that, even after years of pondering, I can’t see the logic behind which Italy is hailed right after Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Anyway, here’s the song.
