Mario Lanza’s last appearance on television prior to his death. ’Saturday Night Spectacular’ UK. He sings Softly as in a morning sunrise and I’m falling in love with someone. Digital audio restoration 2020. On the evening he also sang the Italian song ’A marechiare’ but the audio quality is so poor I am unable to upload it, sadly. These recordings are FAR from perfect, but I have been able to eliminate much of the false echo which is evident on all other copies of this show I’ve ever heard. Sadly, the film footage has never surfaced.
