The Clovers “Devil or Angel“

This classic doo wop recording, “Devil or Angel,“ written by Blanche Carter, was recorded by the Clovers in 1955 for Atlantic Records, reaching number 4 on the Billboard Pop Chart in 1956. Bobby Vee’s cover in 1960 is almost a note by note copy. The original can be found on The Very Best of the Clovers CD on Rhino.
