President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite welcomed the arrival of two US F-22 Raptor jets at a Lithuanian airbase in Siauliai, Wednesday, as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) continues to boost its presence in the region. Commenting on Lithuania’s relationship with NATO, Grybauskaite said that “12 years ago, Lithuania became part of the transatlantic community of mutual trust and solidarity,“ adding that since then a “collective defence and strategic partnership with the United
