The Other “Hadestown“

The tale of Orpheus and Eurydice has been told many a time, with the currently most popular iteration of it arguably being the musical Hadestown. While this adaptation came to New York in 2016 and eventually Broadway in 2019, another retelling had its professional debut only 2 years prior. This was Jasper in Deadland, Ryan Scott Oliver’s version of the story, with a modern yet mythological take on this.
