Please stay tuned and happy listening! Tango is a ballroom dance, a musical style and song. It evolved about 1880 in dance halls and perhaps brothels in the lower-class districts of Buenos Aires, where the light spirited Spanish flamenco merged with milonga, a fast, sensual Argentine dance. It also shows possible influence from the Cuban Habanera. Bordello 1900 depicts the picture of French, Italian and Spanish women who teased the policemen, thieves, sailors, and riffraff who came to see them.
