HEY GUYS IT’S BEEN A WHILE! So happy to be back doing dance videos! Here’s a lengthy emotional af description of what this piece is: Escape: Our relationships aren’t limited to people- they exist in many other ways. Our relationship with dance is an old one, one we’ve both been in since age 9. It’s like an old friend that we’ve grown up with and alongside. There’s an interesting line when you turn something you love into a job or business. It’s always THE dream to turn something you love into a career, but what if some things are best kept separate? Pressure changes things. When we put pressure on dancing for the income or the views, we realized we lost part of the curiosity and passion we had for it in the first place. We felt lost and didn’t feel inspired anymore to make videos. Our relationship with dance hit a low, so rather than worsening things, we left it alone for a while. Looked for purpose in it again.
