The Duchess of Cambridge has offered words of encouragement to pupils in the Bahamas, as she addressed the impact of coronavirus on education.
Speaking at an assembly at the Sybil Strachan Primary School in Nassau, she said: “You have a wonderful proverb in your country - ’When the moon is not full the stars shine more brightly’. I see all of you as the stars of this country.“
Kate also spoke of her hope that her children George, Charlotte and Louis, who “love being by the sea“, would be able to visit the country in the future. Report by Daisy Busel.
