Libya: Locals make the most of it as al-Bayda sees first snow in over decade

Subscribe to our channel! The Libyan city of al-Bayda saw snow for the first time in 15 years on Tuesday, with locals making the most of the rare event. Children were seen having snowball fights and people flocked down to areas of nature in order to experience the snow firsthand. The snowstorm, which began on Monday, was seen in the early hours of Tuesday morning when the temperature was as low as 1 degree Celsius (33.8 degrees Fahrenheit), with the temperature going up to 6 degrees Celsius (42.8 degrees Fahrenheit) later in the day.
