HDTV vs CRT TV Display Lag

CRT TV - Sony KV-AR212N60 (S-Video) HDTV - LG 32LA6200 (Component) (Game Mode) I’m using a PS2 system to play PS1 Parappa The Rapper. Analog video signal is converted internally by HDTV to digital for it to display adding some input lag. HDMI is digital so no need conversion so the input lag is smaller than shown in this video as long as the TV is set to Game Mode. CRT TV practically don’t have input lag because they are natively analog. All modern HDTV have some input lag that’s why if you play Duck Hunt
