It seems like all my Porter Robinson remixes thus far have all been commissioned. I suppose people wanna hear my takes on these songs huhu. Porter Robinson’s 2021 record, “Nurture”, in tandem with “Something Comforting” itself, was a message and series of emotions that I definitely needed to internalize at this stage in my life and career path as a musician. Although the overall outlook of the album was a positive one, LynxieOwO requested that I consider the song from a darker point of view — potentially viewing the song as a sort of “cry for help”.
