The American Academy of Forensic Sciences conference was held in Seattle back in February. I was invited to co-present a seminar with Jeanne Anderson from the codebreaking unit of the FBI. We talked about the history of the FBI codebreaking unit, their involvement in the Zodiac case, and how Jarl, Sam and I broke the Zodiac’s 340 cipher.
