Whatever You do, DON’T Touch This Setting in FL Studio!

There are many myths about FL Studio. There are also plenty of FL Studio mixing tips and tricks out there that people have published with the best intentions, but not all of them are great advice. Some could even completely mess up your mixing and mastering. One of those myths or tips and tricks regarding FL Studio has to do with the panning law utilized by FL Studio. FL Studio has two different panning laws that can be used. Triangular panning law and circular panning law. The panning law in FL Studio directly affects your mixing. Circular panning law is enabled by default. I’ve seen many recommend changing from one panning law to the other because it’s supposed to make your fl studio projects sound better (better sound quality). Unfortunately, this is usually really bad advice, and in this video, I’ll explain why you should never change from one panning law to another unless it’s the very first thing you do in a new project before you start working on it. If you change this setting after a project has been partially or completely mixed down, it will mess up the mixing whenever panning has been used. ------------------------------------------------------------------ RECOMMENDED STUDIO GEAR: (Amazon links below) AUDIO INTERFACE: ☑️ Focusrite Scarlett Solo: ☑️ Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 (3rd Gen): REFERENCE HEADPHONES: ☑️ AKG 612 PRO: ☑️ Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO: REFERENCE MONITORS: ☑️ 5“: Yamaha HS5: ☑️ 7“: Adam Audio: ☑️ 8“: Yamaha HS8: SUBWOOFER: ☑️ KRK 10S2 V2: MICROPHONE: ☑️ Audio-Technica Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone: ☑️ Vocal recording booth / stand for microphone: XLR CABLES: ☑️ TISINO 35 ft Balanced XLR cable for mic: ☑️ Monoprice 6 ft Balanced XLR Cable for monitors: SHORTCUT KEYBOARD: ☑️ Backlit FL Studio Shortcut Keyboard: ☑️Get The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Music Theory Here: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. ------------------------------------------------------------------ ✔️ VST & Effect Plugins: ✔️ Premium Loops And Sample Packs: ------------------------------------------------------------------ Want to know more about mixing and mastering in FL Studio?
