Hebrew - Don’t do it! Negative Commands with אַל־ - Biblical Hebrew - Lesson 111
Learn how to tell people NOT to do something through lots of fun examples! We’ll see that even though this verb form overlaps with the yiqtol form in most cases, some weak verbs reveal that it’s actually a slightly different form, called “jussive“ in Hebrew grammar terminology, and “yaqtel“ in Hebrew.
