To say I’m excited about the launch of the ProArt RTX 4080 would be an understatement! I’ve been a huge fan of the ProArt line-up for quite some time now, having used previous generations of PA motherboards for my own personal productivity builds. The including of the new graphics cards adds that complimentary edge to the overall theme, whilst also trimming down the size significantly to other 4080’s, allowing for such dual GPU setups.
Who’s this for? You ask. Well, if you’re gaming you won’t be disappointed by the PA 4080 performance. However, you wont be able to use both of them together in SLI with gaming in mind. Where the strength of two graphics cards really comes into play is with software utilising Redshift, Octane and C4D etc. In these instances you can effectively halve rendering times. Where time is money, this is especially important.
Initial intent for the build was for the Jonsbo D41 or Fractal North, however given the HUGE power supply needed, combined with the massive amount of airflow required due to dual GPU’s and an i9 13900K, it made total sense to utilise the NZXT H9 Flow as this can accommodate a setup like this without ’cramming it all in’ uncomfortably.
Speaking of cooling, the Noctua fans allow this system to run silently and efficiently whilst also keeping the CPU extremely cool thanks to the new ROG Ryujin III Noctua edition.

Sure, this build is going to carry a high price tag which will no doubt be aimed at those looking for a productivity focussed rig, which would also prevail REALLY nicely when it comes to gaming too. For for those who want it (such as myself) the cost will be justified.
What comes next? A smaller more compact version of this build with the Fractal North for a more budget friendly editing/gaming rig?! Let me know if you’d like to see that in the comments.
Huge thanks to ASUS & Noctua for the support as always, I can’t wait to feature this card in more upcoming builds!
