Unreal engine 5 Early Access 2 - Oblivion - The road to Chorrol - Part I

Greetings ! First part of my trip to Chorrol where I explore the Prancing Poney Inn. This project would have slipped into ... Oblivion if it weren’t for World Partition and Data Layers. The former reduced my memory usage from 20Gb (!) to 5 and the latter enabled me to work on interiors. A lot of work has been done since the last video : lighting has been reviewed, NPCs look at player, textures have been Crazybumped to create specular and roughness masks on the architecture and last but not least, a new town has been added ! All assets / animations / textures (except for landscape) come from the original TES IV Oblivion game. I just upgraded some textures here and there. **** This is a personal project and will never be released to public. **** Rendered on an Intel 4770k, Geforce 1660GTX (6gb) and 24Gb RAM. FPS averages 30. Stay tuned for Part II.
