The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says “it’s a terrible disaster for Afghanistan“ and its people, after the Taliban seized control of Kabul and most of the country. “It represents a colossal, huge, unbelievable failure of strategic policy from the West over the last 20 years,“ Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “But, having said that, the biggest failure is for the leadership of Afghanistan“.
