Across The Sea He Loved So Well (1931)

Full title reads: “Portsmouth. Across the sea he loved so well. Ships and men of the Royal Navy pay touching tribute at passing of Mr. W. Wyllie R.A., famous marine artist.“ Portsmouth, Hampshire. A naval cutter moves out from the shore carrying the coffin of the painter W Wyllie. People watch from the shore and harbour as the boat moves off. Shots of the cutter being rowed past various Royal Navy vessels (large ship is HMS Nelson, which provided the cutter). Warships dip their ensigns in respect as cutter moves past.
