Basic Mandala Elements, Design, Shapes, and Practice
Here’s how I practice the basic mandala elements and shapes. This is also how I design new elements for my next mandala painting. I use the first row to practice the basic shapes like, dot, walking the dots, teardrop, petal, swoosh, etc. I use the remaining boxes to mix and match the shapes or twist and turn them into a new to me design. Hopefully, I’ll end up with a few unique designs that I can use in my next mandala dot art painting. I bet you see a couple or more of these on my next video. I haven’t painted it yet but I just pulled out a Brainstorm page for a 4.5“ rock and I’ve got my Design Practice sheet for inspiration... wish me luck!
