It is a weird feeling being in Madurai, I must confess it. And it has nothing to do with the importance towards temples and food, and it has nothing to do with the heat. It is more that we are in awe in staying in this very old city of the word - one of the longest inhabited places in the world. Madurai, it truly rings a bell of some kind. We are walking around, exploring as good as we can. We are trying Jigarthanda, a cold beverage that is famous in Madurai and also we are trying a mini meal at one of the restaurants near the temple.
