Птицы жаворонки из постного теста / bake bird bread, birdie bread
Ingredients for a dough:
1/3 cup boiling water
a pinch of salt (1/5 teaspoon)
a pinch of soda or baking powder (1/5 teaspoon)
1 cup (or a bit more) all purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
Ingredients for a sirop:
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup warm water
Mix 1/3 cup boiling water, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 cup flour and a pinch of soda or baking powder. Add flour if need it. Mix dough as plastilin. Use raisins as bird eyes. Brush birds lightly with sugar sirop before bake. Bake about 15min in a preheated to 180°C until golden brown.
