In the Studio with The Futuristics

The Futuristics are the production duo of Alex Schwartz and Joe Khajadourian — the superpowers behind some of today’s biggest artists including Halsey, The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber, G-Eazy and many more. They met as interns and have built their careers together, with Alex leaning deeply into songwriting and Joe focusing on production and engineering. By combining their skills during writing sessions with artists, they are able to start from zero and get to a fully-formed concept quickly. In this video, we observe them working with a new artist to get ideas down, while simultaneously building out the vibe of the track.
