Lisa Hannigan - Anahorish (Live from Berlin)

In July 2019, Lisa Hannigan joined us in Berlin for a very special concert to celebrate the State Visit of President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins to the Federal Republic of Germany. We are delighted to bring you ’Anahorish’ from that very concert. The beautiful Seamus Heaney poem was set to music by Lisa and included in her magnificent, critically acclaimed third record ’At Swim’. Tomorrow night, Lisa Hannigan will be playing songs for you live from the National Gallery of Ireland as part of Other Voices’ ’Courage’. Lisa will be joined by Loah and Kevin Murphy from Slow Moving Clouds. The concert is available worldwide at 8PM GMT with thanks to the support of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Intel and RTÉ.
